Hello! We live in Manchester and saw something similar? At about 12:00am. We saw lots of orange lights travelling extremely quickly and in formation with each other. They were flying very high and fast and on the same trajectory. It would make sense to be lanterns I suppose, but they were very high up and so fast and their initial appearance looked like a sci-fi movie! Sent using BlackBerry® from Orange.
